How do employees request shift swaps?+
Employees log into ShiftAssignment on their phone or computer, view the schedule, and request a swap with a coworker. The request goes to you for approval.
Can I set rules for who can swap with whom?+
Yes. Swaps are only available between employees qualified for each other's positions. You can also set up additional rules based on your needs.
What happens if I deny a swap request?+
The requesting employee is notified that the swap was denied. You can optionally include a reason. The original schedule remains unchanged.
Can employees swap shifts with anyone?+
Only with employees who are qualified for their position and vice versa. This prevents unqualified workers from covering specialized roles.
