What is Predictive Scheduling?

Laws requiring employers to provide work schedules a certain number of days in advance and compensate employees for last-minute changes.

Understanding Predictive Scheduling

Predictive scheduling laws (also called fair workweek laws) exist in several cities and states including Oregon, San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle. They typically require 7-14 days advance notice of schedules and premium pay for changes made after posting. These laws aim to give workers more schedule stability.
